Behind THE PASTE
THE PASTE started very simply: with a recipe I was making at home for myself, friends and family.
I wanted something that brought real heat to food without sacrificing flavour — a chili paste that could work just as well with rice, meat and pasta as it could in marinades, sauces or sandwiches.
After sharing it with people around me and repeatedly being asked for another jar, I realized the recipe could become something more.
Today, THE PASTE is produced in small batches in Switzerland with a simple philosophy:
